About The Position

As a Hardware Engineer, you will support development of hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Control & Information Systems Engineering and work in a hybrid role at Westinghouse’s Cranberry, Pennsylvania facility. Relocation assistance is not available. The position may involve travel to customer and supplier sites, both domestic and international.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills.
• Highly motivated and self-starting.

Responsibilities

• Support development of hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• Support creation of hardware design documentation, including cabinet and panel assembly drawings and cable and wiring schematics.
• Support manufacturing of electronic components, cables, and cabinet and panel assemblies.
• Support resolution of technical issues, including obsolescence.
• Support development of component test procedures and execution of functional tests.
• Provide customer support for installation and emergent technical issues.
• Travel to customer and supplier sites, domestically and internationally, as needed.
