About The Position

As an Enhancement Crew Leader, you will oversee the execution of landscape enhancement and hardscape projects from start to finish. You will lead a crew, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise, project coordination, and team development. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional results while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of landscaping, enhancement, or property maintenance experience
  • Minimum 1 year of crew leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience operating landscaping and construction equipment
  • Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and landscape construction practices
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding work
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and technology

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Interloc, SiteDocs, or similar field management and maintenance platforms is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a crew of 4–5 team members on enhancement and hardscape projects
  • Operate heavy equipment, including mini excavators, skid steers, and loaders
  • Plan daily work activities and manage crew schedules
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and job site logistics
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Complete daily logs and safety documentation, including JSAs and Toolbox Talks
  • Utilize Interloc and SiteDocs to manage work orders, document safety activities, track equipment, and maintain accurate project records
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site safety standards
  • Troubleshoot challenges and resolve issues in the field
  • Ensure projects align with design specifications, zoning requirements, and company standards
  • Train, mentor, and support new and returning team members
  • Communicate project progress, safety concerns, and operational updates to management
  • Support winter operations and assist with seasonal duties during the off-season
  • Occasionally troubleshoot technology issues, because every Crew Leader eventually becomes part supervisor, part mechanic, and part IT support
