About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring Clothing Hangers/Inspectors to sort, hang, and tag clothing while meeting production goals and the organization's merchandise quality standards. The position suits someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and efficiently while avoiding distractions. Employees are expected to maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The listed pay is $15.00.

Requirements

Ability to identify clothing defects and consistently meet quality standards.
Ability to work independently, stay organized and dependable, and meet production goals.
Ability to focus and work efficiently while hanging and tagging clothing.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
