About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring Clothing Hangers/Inspectors to sort, hang, and tag clothing while meeting production goals and maintaining quality standards. The role is suited to a dependable, organized person who works independently, stays focused, and pays close attention to detail. Employees maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and stay organized and dependable.
- Ability to meet production goals.
- Attention to detail and ability to consistently identify clothing defects.
- Ability to avoid distractions and work efficiently and quickly when hanging and tagging clothing.
- Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production or similar experience preferred.
