About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Clothing Hanger/Inspector. The role involves sorting clothing for quality and defects, hanging and tagging items efficiently, and maintaining a safe, neat, and productive work area. Successful candidates should be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to meet production goals. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations, receiving donations, pricing, and stocking. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Requirements

Ability to work independently, stay organized, and be dependable.
Attention to detail and ability to identify clothing defects.
Ability to work efficiently and quickly and meet production goals.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
