About The Position

The Hand Packer safely and accurately packages eggs in accordance with company standards, food safety requirements, and production goals. The position communicates with Grader Operators and other line team members to support product flow and production efficiency. General hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Ability to follow safety and food handling requirements.

Responsibilities

Remove eggs from the production line and place them into appropriate packaging or onto pallets.
Identify, remove, and properly dispose of damaged or dirty eggs.
Apply correct labels and verify dates for accuracy.
Communicate with the denester and line team members about product flow changes.
Pack and unpack finished goods as required.
Report quality, safety, or equipment concerns to the lead or manager.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform routine cleaning duties in assigned areas.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety procedures, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
