About The Position

The Hand Packer safely and accurately packages eggs in accordance with company standards, food safety requirements, and production goals. The role requires communication with Grader Operators to support product-flow efficiency. The Hand Packer works in a fast-paced production environment and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Remove eggs from the production line and place them into appropriate packaging or onto pallets.
• Identify, remove, and properly dispose of damaged or dirty eggs.
• Apply correct labels and verify dates for accuracy.
• Communicate with denester and line team members about product-flow changes.
• Pack and unpack finished goods as required.
• Report quality, safety, or equipment concerns to the lead or manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine cleaning duties in assigned areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures and wear required PPE to maintain a clean and safe work area.
