About The Position

The Hand Packer at TreeHouse Foods’ Carrollton, Texas location packs acceptable product and/or icing into appropriate cans at the production line flow. The role is a full-time, permanent second-shift position. The shift runs from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. A shift differential is included.

The role requires maintaining production pace and schedule, monitoring cans for proper weight and supply, completing efficient changeovers, and following good manufacturing practices and regulatory requirements. The work area must remain organized and clean. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.

Responsibilities

• Separate unacceptable product.
• Pack acceptable product at production line speed and maintain the production schedule.
• Pack all good product in containers.
• Monitor cans for proper weight and maintain an adequate supply of cans.
• Make accurate and efficient changeovers.
• Follow good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.
• Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
• Keep the work area organized and clean.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
• Work overtime as required.
