About The Position

Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in retail stores in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Merchandiser works independently to organize and showcase products, maintain inventory, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. The role involves day-to-day merchandising, additional support around holidays, and occasional department resets, installations, and assistance to other merchandisers. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, with use of a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication.

The position averages 13–15 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. The starting pay is $15.50–$17.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees may have access to voluntary benefits; eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Availability is needed around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Some holiday work and evening or weekend assignments may be required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Must have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Must have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability for holiday periods, which may include weekends, and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside assigned Hallmark departments.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to complete daily work, communicate with a supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and respond to surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand with additional days or extended hours around major holidays; work on certain holidays may be required.
• Participate in department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
• Work with other companies’ products in serviced stores on occasion.
