As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and represent Hallmark. You may also support seasonal resets and installations and, on occasion, work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role involves service work in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. Core work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays; using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communications; supporting seasonal holiday demand; and helping with department installations and resets. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 13–15 hours weekly, with additional days or extended hours around holidays and season changes. Availability the week before and after major holidays is required, potentially including weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. The job is physically demanding and involves working on selling floors and in back stockrooms. Employees must frequently handle cartons, merchandise, and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, stand, and potentially climb stairs and step ladders.
