About The Position

The Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to represent Hallmark, maintain Hallmark product displays and inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role involves restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communication, and collaborating with store employees and fellow merchandisers. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. The position may occasionally involve other companies’ products in serviced stores. This part-time role has a variable weekday schedule and averages 6–10 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around seasonal holidays, changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Holiday work may include weekends and, on some occasions, the holiday itself. Department reset and remodel assignments may involve evenings or weekends, with remodel assignments typically communicated two weeks in advance. The job is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures.
