The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain displays and inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores, with occasional work involving other companies’ products. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily merchandising activities and communication, and may support seasonal resets, installations, and other team members in nearby territories. This is a part-time position averaging 6–10 hours per week, with a variable work-week schedule. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around holidays and seasonal changeovers. The role may require availability on certain holidays, weekends, and evenings. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour, depending on skills and experience; eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and involves frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
