As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in the Hallmark departments of assigned retail stores, showcasing organization and time-management skills, building retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, the role may involve working with other companies’ products in serviced stores. The position has a variable work-week schedule averaging up to 9 hours per week. The role involves day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communication. Seasonal demand can bring additional workdays and extended hours around holidays; some holiday work may be required. Reset and installation assignments may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating departments or products, and resetting card sections, sometimes in the evenings or on weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, along with standing, walking, kneeling, and squatting. The role may also require climbing stairs and step ladders. Starting pay is $17.13–$18.13 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
