About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to maintain Hallmark displays and inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with local store teams. You represent Hallmark and may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role involves day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and collaborating with other merchandisers as needed. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, with a variable weekday schedule averaging 10–12 hours per week. Availability before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required; additional days and extended hours may be needed around holidays and for installations or remodels. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Must have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Must have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Must be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Must be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required activity surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support during seasonal periods and holidays, including additional days or extended hours and, on occasion, work on the holiday itself.
• Participate in department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support extended services, installations, inventory support, and fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
