About The Position

The Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, and maintain inventory. The role includes day-to-day product restocking and organization, seasonal holiday support, and participation in department resets, installations, and fixture work. Merchandisers may occasionally work with products from other companies in serviced stores and support fellow team members in their territories. The position is part-time, averaging 13–17 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Work hours may increase around major holidays and seasonal changeovers, and assignments may include weekends or evenings. The starting pay is $16.50–$18.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases, and part-time employees scheduled under 30 hours can access voluntary benefits. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and display fixtures. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication, and need internet access and reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
