About The Position

As a Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays and inventory and build relationships with store teams. You will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, communicate with your supervisor using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, and interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. The role includes seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and helping other merchandisers in their territories as needed. Work is performed on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, with a variable schedule averaging 13–17 hours per week. Availability around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required. The position pays $16.50–$18.50 per hour depending on skills and experience, provides paid training, and offers eligible employees annual pay increases and access to voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory and displays at assigned retail stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and collaborate courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support around holidays, potentially working additional days, extended hours, or the holiday itself, including weekends.
• Participate in department installations and resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
