As a Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills while representing Hallmark and building relationships with retailer teams. You work with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support colleagues with seasonal resets and installations. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in stores. The position is part-time, with a variable weekday schedule averaging 11–15 hours per week. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and collaboration with other merchandisers. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around major holidays and during season changes. Holiday work may include weekends and, on some occasions, the holiday itself. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $16.50–$17.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
