About The Position

Team DelMarVa LLC, a Domino's Pizza franchise operating in Maryland and Delaware, is hiring a Delivery Expert in Lewes, Delaware. The position delivers customer orders by car within a designated delivery area and also performs general store team-member duties, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, and driving.
Ability to work in conditions involving temperature changes, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, and sometimes adverse weather.
Ability to meet the visual and sensory requirements of the job, including near-, mid-range, far, and night vision, depth perception, and distinguishing hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including carrying orders to customer locations.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and prepare products.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility, generally on a daily basis.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies on shelves.
Perform other store duties, including occasional maintenance and changing prices on signs.
