About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays, build relationships with store teams, and represent Hallmark. You will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory, communicate with your supervisor using a company-provided mobile device, and provide professional service to store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.

The role includes seasonal holiday support, which may involve additional workdays and extended hours before and after major holidays, and potentially working on the holiday itself. You may also assist with installations, fixture construction, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will be part of a field network that supports other merchandisers as needed. The position has a variable work-week schedule, averaging 8–12 hours per week, with availability required around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products and inventory within and outside the Hallmark department at assigned stores.
• Maintain and take responsibility for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, supervisor communication, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal holiday demand, including additional workdays or extended hours and, on occasion, work on the holiday itself.
• Assist with installations and department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
