About The Position

As a Merchandiser Floater, you work independently in assigned retail stores, showcase strong organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion, the role may include working with other companies’ products in stores you service. You perform service work in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys, and interacting professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. The work varies with seasonal demand. Before and after major holidays, additional workdays and extended hours may be needed; on some occasions, work on the holiday itself, potentially including weekends, may be required. You may also help build and install fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Hallmark field merchandisers may support teammates in other territories. This is a part-time position with a variable weekday schedule averaging up to 15 hours per week. The starting pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
