About The Position

This position requires a stylist to perform a broad range of salon services, which range from cutting hair and artistic hair coloring. Typical duties include shampooing, cutting hair, though they may also provide other hair treatments, including deep conditioning, permanents, hair coloring, and weaving. Stylist must be skilled at using a wide range of beauty products and tools. Salon Stylist must be able to work with a variety of hair lengths, types, and textures. Stylist must have complete knowledge of infectious diseases. Stylist must maintain the cleanliness of the salon and their stations. Help maintain an adequate inventory of hair products and tools. Other amenities a stylist may provide include Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing, and Makeup Application. Stylists are required to work normal business hours during the week, weekends, and holidays. Ensuring client satisfaction while operating within established guidelines and policies. Stylist must keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends, attend ongoing educational classes to keep the Salon current with Hairstyles and services, maintaining a top level of fun, relaxation, and professionalism.

2 years or more experience cutting and styling hair in a salon.
Excellent communication and customer services skills.
Friendly and Professional demeanor.
Able and willing to work flexible schedule.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Must have a proven record of dependability of performance.
