Cosmetologist - Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa - Hopewell - Part-time
About The Position
Oasis Spa at Hopewell is seeking a talented, licensed Cosmetologist to join their team. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, skincare, and hair care, with strong technical skills and excellent customer service abilities. The ideal candidate is professional, delivers excellent customer services, easily makes connections with clients and is knowledgeable about the latest beauty trends. This role involves providing a range of services including hair, facials, skincare, waxing, basic nail care, and comfort massages for patients undergoing cancer care treatments. The position is part-time, with scheduled weekly hours of 20.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Cosmetology License (Required)
- Strong communication interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of beauty treatments, haircare, skincare, and cosmetic products
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand (up to 6 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine their needs and recommend appropriate services
- Provide hair services including cutting, styling, and coloring
- Provide facials & skincare, waxing and basic nail care
- Maintain a safe and relaxing professional environment
- Educate guests on services received and recommend follow-up care and retail products if applicable
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout treatment rooms and spa areas
- Provide comfort massage (hand and arm) massage to patients during cancer care treatments
