About The Position
Oasis Spa at Capital Health Hopewell is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide high-quality, therapeutic services in a professional, patient-centered environment. This role offers the opportunity to work within a unique healthcare-based spa environment, making a meaningful impact on the well-being of guests. The position involves providing customized massage services, comfort massage, and reflexology, particularly for patients during Cancer Center treatments, while ensuring a safe and relaxing atmosphere. The therapist will also educate guests on treatment benefits, recommend follow-up care, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the spa.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Massage Therapy License (required)
- Minimum 500 hours from an accredited program
- 1-3 years of experience preferred (spa, medical, or wellness setting)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
Responsibilities
- Provide customized massage services based on guest needs and preferences
- Provide comfort massage and reflexology to patients during Cancer Center treatments
- Ensure a safe, relaxing, and professional environment
- Educate guests on treatment benefits and recommend follow-up care and retail products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatments rooms and spa areas
- Start and complete services on time
- Address guest concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to support spa operations
