About The Position

HK Salon Group is hiring Hair Stylists at its Supercuts salons. Stylists work in a positive environment with ongoing education about current trends in cuts, color, and styles. The salon provides steady walk-in clientele, and stylists perform cutting and coloring services rather than assisting other stylists.

Cosmetology students in Massachusetts may be eligible to begin working on the salon floor after completing 500 hours, if their cosmetology program approves. Eligible students can perform shampoos and blow-dries, attend Hair Stylist Academy training, and begin cutting on the floor.

Average total earnings, including tips, retail commission, and bonuses, range from $17.40 to $36 per hour, with top performers exceeding that range.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license in the state where applying to work.

Responsibilities

• Consult with guests to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate hairstyles and products.
• Shampoo, cut, color, and style hair.
