Hair Stylist
About The Position
HK Salon Group is hiring a Hair Stylist at its Supercuts salons. Stylists work in a positive environment and receive ongoing education on current haircutting, color, and styling trends. The salon provides walk-in clientele, and stylists can perform cutting and color services without working as assistants. Cosmetology students in Massachusetts may be eligible to begin working on the salon floor after completing 500 hours, with program approval. Eligible students may perform shampoos and blow-drys and attend the Hair Stylist Academy, where they receive training and begin cutting on the floor. Average total earnings, including tips, retail commission, and bonuses, range from $18.95 to $37 per hour, with top performers earning more. Education is free and stylists are paid to attend.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license in the state where applying to work.

Responsibilities
- Consult with guests to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate hairstyles and products.
- Shampoo, cut, color, and style hair.
- Provide guests with product knowledge and at-home hair care tips.
