About The Position

Great Clips salons are hiring part-time weekend hair stylists to serve customers during the busy Friday-through-Sunday period. The role offers a steady flow of customers, opportunities to earn tips, manageable shifts, and a high-energy, supportive, team-oriented salon environment. Schedules may vary by salon and can accommodate other jobs, school, family, or personal commitments; additional shifts may become available.

Stylists provide haircuts and customer service without needing to bring their own clientele, self-market, manage appointments, or pay booth rent. Salons provide walk-in customers and Online Check-In, alongside training, technical coaching, development opportunities, salon technology, and a collaborative team environment. Pay includes an hourly wage plus tips. Medical benefits and paid time off may be available at certain locations and may depend on hours worked. All Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who handle hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Passion for haircutting and helping customers look and feel their best.
• Ability and desire to listen and provide excellent customer service and genuine connections.
• Team-oriented attitude and desire to contribute to a great team culture.
