About The Position

Blo Blow Dry Bar Woodson's Reserve is hiring a Hair Stylist/Makeup Artist to provide blow outs, braids, up-dos, bridal and hair extension services, and makeup application. The role offers an hourly wage plus tips, commissions, and bonuses. Stylists receive ongoing paid training and education, including instruction in Blo's signature techniques and access to an exclusive education platform. The company provides the tools and products needed, clients, and opportunities to learn additional skills, advance, and participate in events and photo shoots. Requirements

• Hold an up-to-date cosmetology license for Texas.
• Be available to work weekends.
• Have a passion for the beauty industry and for making people feel great.
• Have experience or interest in makeup application.
• Be willing to travel between the Kingwood and Woodson's locations and perform a variety of salon services.

Responsibilities

• Perform blow outs, braids, up-dos, bridal and hair extension services, and makeup application.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Provide expert recommendations that lead to product sales, service upgrades, and membership sign-ups.
• Participate in regular training and skill-development opportunities.
• Work collaboratively and support teammates.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace.
