About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team and build real-world salon experience while still in school. This internship is designed for cosmetology and barber students seeking to learn about salon life, connect with a professional team, and prepare for a possible transition into a licensed stylist role after graduation. Internship experiences may include exposure to salon operations, customer service, teamwork, salon systems, tools, and technology, as well as opportunities to observe and support haircutting and finishing techniques where state regulations allow. Most interns observe, assist, and learn rather than perform full services. Program structure, scheduling, and responsibilities vary by salon location because programs are created and managed by individual Great Clips salon organizations. Compensation, if offered, varies by salon organization and is discussed during the interview process. Employment after graduation is not guaranteed, and internship opportunities are offered only by select salons.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a cosmetology or barber program.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn about salon operations, customer service, and teamwork through hands-on exposure.
