About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team and build real-world salon experience while enrolled in cosmetology or barber school. The internship helps students learn about salon life, connect with a professional team, and prepare for a possible transition to a licensed stylist role after graduation. Interns gain exposure to salon operations, customer service, teamwork, salon systems, tools, and technology. They may observe and support haircutting and finishing techniques as allowed by state regulations. Most interns observe, assist, and learn rather than perform full services. Program structure, scheduling, and responsibilities vary by salon location because individual Great Clips salon organizations create and manage their programs. Compensation, if offered, varies by salon organization and will be discussed during the interview process. Employment after graduation is not guaranteed, and internships are offered only by select salons.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a cosmetology or barber program.

Responsibilities
