About The Position

The Gynecologist Physician delivers comprehensive gynecological care to patients in an outpatient setting, including preventive services, evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The physician supports women’s health through compassionate, high-quality medical care and patient education, collaborating with clinical staff and other healthcare providers to promote continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Active New York State Medical License.
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
DEA registration required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide routine and comprehensive gynecological examinations and evaluations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
Perform Pap smears, pelvic exams, breast exams, biopsies, and minor in-office procedures.
Provide contraception counseling and family planning services.
Manage menopausal care, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and reproductive health concerns.
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
Educate patients about treatment plans, preventive care, and overall wellness.
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation.
Participate in quality assurance and compliance initiatives.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and clinical guidelines.
