About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens physician position in Obstetrics & Gynecology at a hospital in Beaumont, TX. The role involves clinical duties plus call coverage from ASAP until June 14, 2027. The facility has 19 L&D rooms and 34 mother-baby rooms, utilizes the Epic EMR system, and has backup available from Anesthesia and Surgery. The service setting is a hospital with a patient volume of approximately 2000 deliveries annually. Airfare, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active Texas Medical License
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Texas DEA
- 50 vaginal deliveries and 10 C-section procedures within the past year
Responsibilities
- Provide OB triage and emergency management.
- Manage labor and perform vaginal and C-section deliveries.
- Provide surgical assists during Cesarean sections.
- Consult on ED patients.
- Provide backup call coverage for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs).
