About The Position
Locum tenens Obstetrics & Gynecologist position at a hospital in Cottonwood, Arizona. The role provides clinical and call coverage from October 30, 2026 through January 29, 2027, with clinical shifts scheduled during the day. The patient population includes adults and neonates, and the case mix includes obstetrics and gynecology. The expected volume is 0–1 deliveries per shift. The hospital has 99 beds, and uses Cerner as its EMR. Credentialing takes 30 days.
Requirements
- Active Arizona medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
- DEA registration.
- At least 1 year of OB/GYN experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage obstetric patients, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Provide gynecological consultations and surgical services.
- Cover for the Nurse Mid-Wife as needed.
- Respond to callbacks for deliveries and emergencies.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
