About The Position
The Petersburg Family YMCA is seeking part-time, energetic, and experienced individuals to facilitate our gymnastics classes with the children in our gymnastics program. Requirements
- Enjoy working with children.
- Experience with basic gymnastics knowledge.
- Experience demonstrating appropriate spotting techniques and other skills.
- Ability to move equipment with assistance, up to approximately 100 pounds.
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents.
- Physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation.
Nice To Haves
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a successful, engaging, and fun program for gymnastics participants.
- Facilitate gymnastics classes for children.
- Spot (catch or lift) children of approximately 100 pounds.
- Respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in an emergency situation.
