About The Position

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking an energetic and positive Gymnastics Instructor to lead engaging gymnastics classes. The instructor helps children develop their skills in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment by providing instruction, leadership, and motivation. The role includes creating a welcoming atmosphere where all individuals feel supported and respected and helping children stay active and excited to learn. This position is part-time, pays $16.00 per hour, and requires Tuesday evening and weekend availability.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old and able to furnish working papers.
At least 3 years of gymnastics participation experience.
Current CPR PRO and First Aid certifications.
Complete child abuse prevention training annually.
Available Tuesday evenings and weekends.
Ability to remain standing and moving for extended periods and perform activities including bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, walking, running, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual tasks.
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
