About The Position

The Gymnastics Instructor introduces children to learning and play in The Little Gym’s enrichment and physical development environment. Instructors teach classes using the company’s curriculum and teaching method; training is provided. They deliver outstanding customer service and membership experiences while creating a warm, fun, educational, clean, safe, and nurturing environment where children can develop at their own pace. The role involves active, movement-based work and engaging with children and their parents. Availability is needed on various weeknights and weekends.

The Little Gym offers gymnastics-based programs for children ages 4 months through 12 years, including parent/child, pre-K, and grade school classes. Its programs use movement-based learning and imaginative play to support children’s confidence and skills. The position is with an independently owned and operated franchise; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with children and being active on the job.
• Have a fun, outgoing, and positive demeanor.
• Be service-oriented and enjoy making children and parents feel welcome.
• Know when to have fun and when to focus on work.
• Be available various weeknights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics.
