About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Gujarati Teacher for an online, two-to-one format course for a client in the US. The student is a beginner, aged 35-44, motivated by heritage to learn conversational Gujarati. The course will be held online, with sessions scheduled once per week on Fridays (3:00-3:59 PM and 4:00-4:59 PM) and Sundays (10:00-10:59 AM). The preferred start date is ASAP. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time, freelance position.
Requirements
- Native Gujarati speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Have a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (92618).
- Submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to a beginner student.
- Teach conversational Gujarati.
- Adapt to student's schedule and motivation.
