About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a guitar teacher to teach and inspire students while creating an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment. The role involves teaching students of varying ages and skill levels, communicating with students and parents, setting goals, and providing progress updates. The teacher partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and fostering students’ musical growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with guitar.

Nice To Haves

• Further experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
• Share musical expertise to inspire students and foster their growth.
• Create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment.
