About The Position

As a Music Teacher, you will teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will help increase and retain student enrollment while supporting each student’s growth, development, and enjoyment of playing music. You will contribute to a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect, and provide an excellent customer experience. The role partners with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs, supports customer service as needed, and builds long-term student relationships through a positive learning experience. Teachers also communicate frequently with students and families about progress and goals, recognizing parents’ knowledge of their children as learners. The listed pay is $16.90–$20.34 per hour at the non-teaching rate and up to $30.14 per hour at the total teaching rate, depending on background and experience. Requirements

Previous experience in music, education, or a related field.
Ability to teach an instrument in which the candidate is proficient, such as drums, guitar, or keyboard.
Ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area being taught.
