About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a guitar teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment. The teacher provides music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, shares musical expertise to encourage student growth, and communicates with students and parents about goals and progress. The teacher also partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of music teaching experience, especially with guitar.
Nice To Haves
- Further teaching experience with related instruments.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
- Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
- 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
