About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a piano teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment. The teacher gives lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, builds positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and works with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The role focuses on sharing musical expertise to support student growth; Music & Arts handles administrative work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with piano.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience with voice or related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
