Voice Teacher (Store #3201)
About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a voice teacher to provide private music lessons and inspire students. The teacher will create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels, and help them grow as musicians. They will build relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The role is with a company committed to music education, creativity, and helping people develop lifelong relationships with music.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of music teaching experience, especially with voice.
Nice To Haves
- Further teaching experience with piano or related instruments.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
- Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
- 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
