Guidewire Developer
About The Position
The Guidewire Developer works with insurance suites integrated with Guidewire, with a focus on PolicyCenter configuration and integration. The role involves applying Guidewire best practices and understanding the implementation lifecycle, including configuration, integration, and Gosu scripting. The developer performs code reviews, enforces coding standards, and supports Guidewire patch upgrades and large-scale implementations. The role also supports operations and maintenance activities, including incident resolution, defect fixes, and upgrades. Prior experience in support projects is expected, along with flexibility to extend work when needed. Flexible work-from-home options are available.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of experience.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter skills.
- Guidewire Associate certification (listed as a minimum requirement).
- Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter configuration and integration.
- Strong understanding of branching, merging, and code review processes.
- Knowledge of Guidewire best practices and the implementation lifecycle.
- Deep knowledge of Guidewire configuration, integration, and Gosu scripting.
- Prior experience in support projects.
- Flexibility to extend work when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Guidewire Associate certification is also described as preferred.
