About The Position
The San Juan Unified School District is seeking to fill multiple positions in their Guest/Substitute Teacher Pool. This is a part-time instructional faculty role with flexible scheduling and work days available during the school year. Candidates must meet specific requirements related to teaching credentials or eligibility for an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. New guest teachers are required to attend an orientation, pass a criminal background check, obtain a clear TB test, and pass an AB2534 reference check. Requirements
- Hold a teaching credential based on a degree and student teaching OR be eligible to apply for an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (unofficial transcripts with conferral date must be attached).
- Pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Obtain a clear TB test.
- Pass AB2534 reference check.
