About The Position

The Guest Services Team Member is the first point of contact for guests at Bergen County's Winter Wonderland at Van Saun Park. The role provides excellent customer service and requires a strong working knowledge of the facility's programs and offerings. The position is seasonal and non-exempt.

Requirements

Able to work with people of a wide range of ages, from preschoolers through adults.
Flexible schedule and regular attendance, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Excellent guest service skills.
Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.
Provide courteous, friendly, first-in-class service to all guests.
Know facility programs, including their formats, pricing, and meeting dates and times.
Operate multi-line phones.
Record waivers and event information.
Help keep the facility clean and safe by regularly cleaning common areas and rink surfaces.
Hand out and collect skates, ensuring they fit properly and are in good condition.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding guest and team member information.
Professionally resolve guest concerns and complaints or direct them to the appropriate manager.
Know and enforce venue policies and procedures.
Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as assigned.
