About The Position

The Lead Guest Services Team Member processes merchandise and fuel transactions and leads a shift of one to two cashiers. The role supports guest service, shift operations, and other travel center functions while ensuring activities comply with company and local rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead a shift of one to two cashiers in processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
Complete end-of-shift reports and closeout procedures.
Follow company and local guidelines for selling restricted merchandise, including alcohol and tobacco.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management.
Determine break schedules and team member placement during the shift.
Assist with other travel center functions, such as maintaining the deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, and making coffee.
Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
Ensure activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Complete other duties as assigned.
