About The Position

The Guest Services Representative works in the hotel lobby or reception area and helps create a positive first impression for guests. The role provides a variety of guest services, supports an excellent guest experience, and offers flexible hours and opportunities to meet people. The position is part-time at The Charmant Hotel, a boutique hotel in downtown La Crosse operated by Geronimo Hospitality Group.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Effective conflict management and decision-making skills.
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Process guest arrivals and departures, including necessary payments.
• Handle and coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals.
• Address guests’ concerns.
• Refer guests to services and respond to requests for information.
• Handle and store luggage.
• Assist with check-in and check-out for groups and tours.
• Assist other departments as required.
