Guest Services Event Day Staff
About The Position
The Guest Services Event Day Staff primarily focuses on the greeting and entry responsibilities of events, including scanning admission tickets, maintaining common area order and cleanliness, and promoting a friendly and welcoming environment for guests. This position will be conducted primarily from an admission booth. This position will begin towards the end of November. Schedule: Primarily Saturdays and Sundays. Occasional holidays. Complex hours for events are 6a-8p, 6 to 8 hour shifts. NOTE: Because this position will involve routine interaction with children, all candidates must successfully obtain the following clearances PRIOR to beginning employment: PA State Police criminal history record, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance. We recommend obtaining these as soon as possible to ensure your employment can begin promptly, as results may take up to 4 weeks to arrive. You must possess the “Employment” versions of each clearance and not the “Volunteer” versions.
Requirements
- PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance: Must be dated within the past 5 years and specifically for employment (not volunteer).
- 18 years of age or older
- Comfortable w/ iPad/technology
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Scanning guest service tickets upon entry
- Acts as central resource for entire Spooky Nook Sports community
- Remains calm during member/participant interactions involving urgent or stressful matters
- Follows all cash handling policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
