About The Position

The Guest Services Associate provides welcoming, attentive service to resort guests from registration through checkout. The role includes guiding guests through registration, issuing unit keys, sharing information about the resort and nearby attractions, quoting room rates, and reserving and confirming individual or group reservations. The associate handles guest transactions and cashiering duties in accordance with established procedures, verifies folio charges and credits, and responds to guest inquiries and concerns promptly. This is a full-time position at WorldMark Kingstown Reef Resort in Orlando, Florida, paying $17 per hour.

Requirements

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, friendly service.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashiering and money-handling responsibilities.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify that guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits.
• Reserve and confirm individual and group reservations.
• Provide room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
