About The Position

The Guest Services Agent creates a welcoming, memorable hotel experience by handling guest transactions, sharing local information, and anticipating guest needs. This part-time, flexible position covers days off across all shifts, so the ability to work first, second, and third shifts is a plus. The role is eligible for a new-hire bonus after 120 days of employment.

Requirements

Strong communication skills and approachability.
Problem-solving skills.
Fluency in the local language.
Reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.
Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
A high school diploma or qualification.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work first, second, and third shifts.
Additional language skills.
A college or university degree.
At least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service position.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and help create a memorable guest experience.
Acknowledge Rewards Club members and returning guests in person and by phone.
Take and manage guest bookings, identify upselling opportunities, and explain ways to improve guests’ stays.
Handle cash and credit transactions.
Check guests in and out, verify IDs, provide room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes.
Record and act on guest preferences and handle messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
Assist guests with matters such as bill issues and local information, and involve management when necessary.
Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear required protective gear.
Maintain a professional appearance and act as a brand ambassador.
Stay informed about the day’s events and activities.
Assist colleagues with other ad hoc duties as needed.
