About The Position
Provide fast and pleasant guest service by performing duties related to the front porch. The role includes greeting and assisting guests, properly bagging purchases, offering help to guests with their vehicles, performing price checks, relaying guest problems to a supervisor, retrieving carts, and cleaning designated areas.
Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
- Ability to bend and lift to load customer orders into cars.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with every guest by greeting and thanking them, offering a choice of bag type, and following other courtesy guidelines.
- Bag guests’ orders properly to prevent purchases from being damaged.
- Work well with co-workers and supervisors.
- Place purchases in a grocery cart or hand bags to guests, and sincerely offer assistance to their vehicles.
- Perform price checks.
- Relay guest problems to a supervisor.
- Retrieve carts from the parking lot.
- Clean the front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, and other areas as needed.
- Clean garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
